BACKGROUND & AIMS: miR-122 is the most abundant microRNA in the liver and regulates
metabolic pathways including cholesterol biosynthesis, fatty acid synthesis, and oxidation.
However, little is known about mechanisms that regulate the expression of miR-122 in the
